Child Safety

   Our Service is committed to providing a child safe environment where children’s safety and wellbeing is supported. A Place where all children feel safe, secure, Supported, respected, valued and encouraged to reach their full potential. 

Our Service embeds the Child Safe Standards (CSS), National Model Code and follows the reportable conduct scheme to promote a culture of safety and security for all children in our care. 

At Playhouse Early education and Care Safeguarding our Children is of our highest priority. The service has an ongoing commitment to protecting our children through strong service leadership, governance and service policies and procedures. 

At Playhouse we focus on Children's individual wellbeing to minimise the risk of child abuse, neglect or harm to children whilst promoting children’s sense of security and belonging.  

 We ensure all employees, Visitors, Students and volunteers understand the service guidelines and expectations around child safety and the importance and benefits of providing a child safe environment for all children.
