Hi My name is Ashleigh, and I am the service Manager and Educational Leader at Playhouse Early Education and Care Doncaster

I have worked in Early Childhood education as an ECT Early Childhood Kindergarten teacher for over 6 years and worked in the Early Education industry for over 14-years 

The early years in a child’s life are so important in their overall development; in shaping the adult they will become. 

I believe it is important for all children to learn in a supportive and nurturing environment in order to build their confidence and acquire the basic skills they will need to succeed in life.

My team and I provide high-quality care to all of our children and families at the service.

My role in Early Childhood began 15 years ago while completing my Advanced Diploma in Children’s Services. I’ve since managed various Centres and I aim to deliver a high standard of leadership, mentoring and guidance throughout the service.  

Working in partnership with my team of dedicated educators, children, their families, and our extended community, we provide quality care and education for the young children in our service. 

We provide each child with learning experiences and opportunities that encourage them to progress and develop and take on challenges constructively while developing a love for learning. 

We encourage and support children to strive to succeed and to reach their individual potential and full capabilities

Learning Opportunities and experiences are play-based, open-ended, culturally inclusive and reflective of each child’s abilities and interests. They enable children to imagine, inquire, explore, take risks and build on their knowledge about the world around them. 

I believe that when children feel safe, secure and supported they will truly flourish in life!
