Hi My name is Joe and I am one of the Early Childhood teachers At Playhouse Early Education and Care

 I believe that each child has unique strengths and abilities and preferred learning styles. I provide support and guidance to my students to encourage them to exceed and thrive. 

By providing a supportive environment and encouraging communication the children that I work alongside feel supported to reach their goals and develop positive attitudes about learning. 

My approach to teaching is child led, and child centered. I aspire to instill the foundations for future learning through exploration, discovery, curiosity, imagination and enthusiasm. 

 I believe that respectful, caring bonds with children and their families are the vital foundation for a wonderful kindergarten experience. 

Hi My name is Melody and I am one of the Early Childhood teachers At Playhouse Early Education and Care

I believe that emotional engagement is the key to all powerful learning. That is why I bring joy, laughter, passion, and meaningful project work into my teaching techniques. I always look for ways to personalise learning and engage the child’s imagination.

I also support and embed the Reggio Emilia approach emphasising child-centered learning through exploration and collaboration. Children are viewed as active participants in their learning, with the classroom environment designed as the third teacher and used to promote inquiry and exploration.

 In my Classroom we support collaborative team work and peer mentoring. Children often work in groups, promoting teamwork collaboration and communication skills. 

Our students are valued and supported with all ideas celebrated and heard. 

We support open ended conversations and child led learning opportunities within the classroom.  

Hi My name is Charlie (CC) and I am one of the Early Childhood teachers At Playhouse Early Education and Care

 I have been working with children in the industry for the past three years now as children are my passion and inspire me every day. I have a love, dedication and passion for Early childhood development and early education. 

I am passionate about connecting with people building meaningful relationships and secure bonds. My teaching philosophy is built on building trusting and meaningful relationships with my students and supporting them to thrive and succeed. 

I have a sound understanding and knowledge of the Early year's curriculum the VEYLF, the national quality framework, national Law and regulations and pride myself on withholding all standards. I am passionate about art and craft and exploring children's natural creativity. 

I adapt and implement parts of the Montessori philosophy within my program.   Montessori educators lead students to ask their own questions and to discover how to find the answers for themselves whilst supported to do so. Students are encouraged to do their own research, Analyse what they have found, and come to their own conclusions. 

I encourage children to think for themselves and become actively engaged in the learning process, whilst supporting them to succeed within the classroom.

 I speak four languages including Cantonese, Mandarin, English, and Korean. I specialise in designing diverse, open-ended activities that engage children with their learning development through experiences that support them in preparing for school and transitioning successfully.
