Sustainability in the Early Years

   Our Service is passionate about embedding and teaching sustainability. We believe in supporting children to appreciate and care for the environment by embedding sustainable practices into the daily operation of our Service and within our programs 

  We offer a variety of fun and educational activities at Playhouse Early Education and Care that encourage discovery and exploration  

  In order to empower our sustainability program, we emphasise an support children’s abilities to make a difference, enabling them to learn and appreciate their environment in an engaging, fun and exciting manner. We engage children in discussions about sustainable practice, developing an appreciation of the natural world, encouraging them to participate in a recycling program and reducing energy and conserving water. 

 We aim to provide children with the skills and knowledge required to take an active role in caring for the environment and to think about ways they can contribute to a sustainable future
